Fema Employment

What are the steps taken to get a bill passed in Congress for a Federal Law ?

A new law is needed to protect nursing home residents and the employes who take care of them by putting a limit on the number of residents or patients that an employee takes care of in one 7hr. shift period. The nomal amount is 7-8 residents to one aid(employee) during the day but it is as many as 10,13, or more to care for. It is unsafe and unhealthy has well. And to hard on the workers that do this hard job.

  1. petition your state rep.,governor, senator, have people sign a petition. There's usually a certain amount of signatures needed before it will even be considered for a bill. talk to your towns mayor he/she can tell you exact steps to take, if not they can steer you in the right direction to attempt to accomplish this.
