Illegal immigrants take away tax revenue and don't recycle the American dollar. Instead they take it back to Mexico. I think that is wrong. When I get my paycheck, I pay my taxes and spend in my city, my county, my state, and my country. Illegal immigrants also take away jobs of the US citizens. Because there is an incentive to small business owners for cheap labor and no taxes, Americans lack the jobs. 11 million illegal immigrants and 5% unemployment. What would happen if illegal immigrants would go back to their country?

I believe that you are correct. People constantly whine that "illegals do the jobs that Americans don't want to do". This is pure BS. Americans will do ANY job as long as the pay is decent. Illegals are working in the U.S.and then sending/bringing the money back to their country of origin. Many avoid taxes and do not contribute to the American economy.
Great question. This is something that I have written "letters to the Editor" years ago beginning with that despicable Jimmy Carter who began opening our borders to illegals. I had predicted then and stand by it.... and that is that there is no answer because .. actually, due to our corrupt political leaders who are after votes and care nothing for the U.S. I had predicted then and today that eventually our President will be President Martinez, our Congressmen will be by the name of Congressman Cruz, etc etc. When this happens, and it will, corruption will be rampart as it is in Mexico. Our economy will be destroyed. Those have been my predictions from long ago and it will happen.
When people like you decide to work in landscaping for $5.15 or less an hour there won't be anyone crossing the border to do so. If all the illegal immigrants left, and I think they should, actually, who is going to do the work most American laborers won't or can't? And 5% unemployment is very low, both historically and in comparison to other countries. It's 12% in Germany as of late. If you are so proud of where you spend your dollars, have you ever wondered just how much imported product those dollars go to? Do you see to it every dollar you spend doesn't makes its way back to Mexico or China anyway? If you put your efforts toward reforming our tax laws and getting more U.S. citizens trained to work more kinds of jobs, you might not have to lay awake at might wondering who is crossing the Rio Grande.

Well maybe you should allow them to legally immigrate to America? For the most part, in California, illegal immigrants do the work that Americans will not do. They are an intregal part of the economy for the farming industry and without them I would imagine that you would have a lot more problems then you have with them. That being said, perhaps the government should come up with a solution that is not so black and white. They coulds set up and quazi legal work visa permit, only for certain jobs, as necessary, and charge them a very small portion of the wages (as they are quite low anyways) to add to your tax base. There are always different ways of solving a complex problem. It seems you can't live with them and you can't live without them so try some compromise and adjust it as problems and situations arise. Just an opinion.
You start with a biased view. If all the illegal immigrants were to leave the USA today, this is the immediate impact: Bus your own dishes at the local restaurant. Clean and empty your own trash at your office. Your children would be cleaning their own school. Your fruits and vegetables would have to be imported from Mexico since no Mexicans are in the US farms to pick your fruits. Trim your own grass and cut your trees this weekend. They do pay taxes and get no benefits. If they try to get benefits, they are deported. They pay rent, someone is making money. They buy food, someone is making money in the USA. They pay utility bills, some utility is making money. They buy gas, US oil companies are making money. Don't be so biased against others. If you are Native American. You can say this. If not, your grandparents, great-grand parents came to this country too. If they were kept out, you might be an illegal immigrant too.
Not for long. In this year we are going to have an amnesty similar to the Simpson rodino twenty years ago (Under a republican President -again-, no coincidences) that would make the illegal immigrants legal, and we no longer will allow them to drive away our federal tax revenue and take jobs, because they will be legal residents.
I have *NO* problems with the immigrants if they come here legally. My issue is when they don't, and we 'fly them home' and house them in our 'jails until their flight' and they turn around and do it again. Not to metnion heath care costs. I so believe we rely and NEED their labor and all that, but I'm very tired of them getting a free ride in the jails/healthcare system as that burdens us all.. and where 2/3rds of American's don' have health insurance it is a bit troubling. Go home, come back and do it legally and I have ZERO problems with it :) GL ** The only TRUE NATIVES are The Native Indians (Aborinals) of North America which includes Mexico, USA and Canada.. America does not have the sole 'Native' population and that is blatantly wrong according to history. We are NATIVE because we were born here - whether we are 2nd, 3rd or 5th generation, whether we have Native Aboriginal blood or not, we are not considered 'illegal' by today's standards and whether our anscenstors did right or wrong, does not change 'our' birth right. Those of us born here, OR that come here legally, have the right to stay. Excusing "Illegal behavior' only encourages MORE Illegal behavior - as President Reagen showed us when he 'excused' the process of other Illegal's into this nation. If we do not have rules, and processes, where do we all end up? I guess because we are born here or came here legally, our rights are not as important as the those that broke the law to come? Hummmm I don't think so. Do they pay taxes? They can't without a Social Security Card (oh and breaking the law using ILLEGAL SS#'s? That's very enlightening) and if you are illegal they don't give those out. Oh you mean sales tax? That doesn't cover what is used in 'social services' between when they get caught - their medical, their jail time nor their plane ticket home. That's my 2 copper and while this is a hot debate, and many do not agree, I find this a troubling trend and to 'excuse' 11 million Illegals keeps encouraging them to come illegally in hopes we will 'pardon them again'. They need to go home and apply like the rest of those that came legally, and quit getting a free ride because 'there are so many'. ARGH! One last question.. ok, so because there are so many rapists in jail, does that mean we 'just let them out because there are so many and they protest'? They broke the law too!! Of course not, but illegal aliens, undocumented workers have more rights than the citizens in our own jails do these days.
Illegals also pay taxes, and also spend it in the city they are living in, how else do you think they pay their rent, bills and groceries?? The US economy would suffer if all illegals were to be sent back to their country. Watch prices go up on agricultural products. NAFTA screwed the poor mexican farmers who could not compete with US businesses and had to find some way of making a living.
Consider this: the only TRUE natives of America are the native american indians. If your blood status does not completey fall under this category, you too are an illegal immigrant.
