under federal labour-no law in place protecting employee?
long distance highway driver operating in canada-usa.refused a trip to to the usa and was told by the president of the company that if i didnot help them out and do the trip,well he told me that i must have quit.in other words if i dont take the trip i dont have a job.go to uic the employer just puts quit on your seperation-disqualificatiion 10-12 weeks.i was forced into the trip or my job was dangled in front of me.

- I don't understand. You want to sue the company because you weren't willing to do the work they offered you?
- If you are the employee you must do all you can to keep your job.If you are the employer you can set your own terms and conditions.
