I am an honorably discahrged veteran, how do I get a federal job with the same country that I served, (usa)?

I have a resume on file, but like other veterans that i have spoken with, we are not qualified, or never get a response.

Do you have any idea how many people apply for federal jobs??? Your military time gives you preference. It does not qualify you for a job for which you are not qualified, nor does it create a job for you. And people who presently have those jobs tend to hangh on to them, so there is no larghe turnover from year to year. Keep applying.
