  1. Obviously fake.
  2. It's a scam.
  3. If u applied for tat job before u follow this Dont give money to anybody. Not even a single Rupee. If they r interested definitely they will call u at free of cost. if u didnt apply before ignore tat mail
  4. its fake i get those all the time
  5. We can't really tell based on this letter. Call the Sheraton main headquarters and make sure that the person signing the letter is, indeed, an employee who is authorized to recruit new hires. Ask them to verify if the offer is real. Seems pretty odd that they only included an email address without a phone number. I don't mean to make sweeping generalizations but if I see that an offer, whatever it may be, is from Nigeria, I toss it.
  6. HOW MUCH WILL THEY CHARGE YOU GET YOUR PAPERS IN ORDER? Then, after you have payed, nothing will happen. I may not be right about this, but Nigeria is FAMOUS for scams!
  7. did you apply for a job with this company? If you didn't then it is fake, surely? If you did apply to them, you need to phone up the person who interviewed you and check that everything is legitimate. By the way, the salary looks fake to me - £18,000 US dollars a month for a chef???? You'd be lucky to get that per year anywhere else!
  8. i bet there gonna ask ya for some fees to get yourelf legalizied to work over there!!! i've won billions in the nigerian lottery, and have become employeed with several art companies and textile companies from over there!!!! i just havent respoded yet!!! its a scam!!!
  9. Did you apply for this job? It looks like abnother scam to get your information, but I haven't seen this one before. It gives no details of what they want to hire you for either.
  10. Probably be a little more believable if they spelled SHERATON correctly. Unless of course you applied to the SHARATON hotel.
  11. Fake. Sheraton is misspelled. Things to think about: Did you send a resume to the Sheraton in Nigeria? Did anyone interview you? Did you fill out an application? Do you still think it's legitimate? Fine...call them. Here is their address and phone number...the legitimate ones: Ladi Kwali Way · Abuja, Abuja Federal Capital Territory · Nigeria Phone: (234) (9) 461 2100 Remember, people that fall for these Nigerian scams and actually show up in the country are in extreme physical danger. I've sent the website to the actual Starwood/Sheraton company. Hopefully, they can get it closed down.
  12. Next time before you ask stupid questions, at least check the Web site and millions of other scamed people with this same e-mail. THE Sharaton does not exist. The Website does, becasue Nigerians aint stupid. they are the NUMBER ONE Thiefs in the world. before any dumb a$$eS reply about that check your facts. thank you Lori for sending that info: maybe we wont have to answer this again and agin and again.
  13. First of all they spelled Sheraton wrong. I don't know of many businesses that don't know how to spell their own name. Second, Did you even apply for this job? That is usually a sign of a scam when you receive job offers you didn't apply for. Third, Do you really think Sheraton is in the business of paying people over 200,000 a year to work in a hotel? You are not going to be the president of the hotel are you? Fourth, This is coming from Nigeria. That is really all I had to see. They are famous for their scams. It is only a matter of time until they tell you that there is a "fee" for the immigration work permits. Delete this, it is a scam
  14. Dear deepak.even i had received this type of offer letter on 08/09/07.but i have got for the different designation but with the same job reffrence no.please do not take any step without proper knowledge.and if u get any type of information please do let me know and if i get any type of information i will surely let u know.... Feel free to call me any time my no. is 9811334099
  15. Deepak, I had one of my contacts who is in Abuja to check it out. This is what he wrote to me - "Enquired at the reception - Sheraton does require a Chef de Pastry (party) at this moment. The typical salaries are of the order of $700 to $1500 per month, so $18500 is more likely a yearly value rather than a monthly value." I hope this will help you to decide.
  16. Sharaton? Come on, dude, it's Sheraton! I say it's a fake 100%. Check on http://www.oil-offshore-marine.com/bewarejobscams.php
