What type of jobs are there for college grad in USPS sector.. Mail carriers? or any management or supervising jobs open to people with no USPS experience. It is quite hard to find a Federal job.

- You have to take a civil service test first. Call the post office in the area you wish to work. They can tell you when the tests are done. If you are not hired right off make sure you call the personnel office once a year and let them know you are still interested and your application will stay in the running. Veterans who apply get first choice with and extra 5 points and then it is by score, highest going first, after that. Hope that helps. I am a US gov employee.
- You'll first have to take the USPS test to find out. They should run an add in your local paper.
- Either go to the Post Office or go to USPS.com/jobs and find out what tests are being given. If you pass the test you'll be put on a list/register and when your time comes you will be notified. Once in service managment opportunites present themselves rapidly.
