What type of Job is Better?
I have been offered a job with the IRS - Federal and I'm sure I'll be offered a job with the State of Texas. Which is better - Federal or State Employment ? and Why? Thanks for the help***~

- Federal IRS , definitely ! You can cheat on your taxes , and be the person to check your tax return at work . It just doesn`t GET any better than that ...................

A permanent IRS employee will be working all year round. a Federal employee earns 4 hours of sick and 4 hours of annual leave per pay period -every 2 week pay) You also want to consider which position is offering the most per hour, both State and Federal positions have good benefits, though the State for health benefits pays 80% of the premiums, Federal only pays 72% of the premiums. Both have good retirement plans that you contibute to. And both have great opportunties for advancement. Weigh out which would be more beneficial to you then decide
