Can anyone give me an example of employment protection provided by IL, but not from a federal perspective?

- unions are allowed in IL which is a form of non goverment employment protection.
- The state of Illinois has a law called VESSA. It stands for VICTIMS ECONOMIC SECURITY AND SAFETY ACT. It basically protects employment for people being threatened with violence that have to miss work.
