What are some of the best U.S. cities for government jobs working with the environment?

1. I am just going out on a limb here but, I would guess Washington D.C. Or maybe Seattle, Washington. Just because in DC you could work for the Federal goverment for something like water testing or wildlife conservation, and in Seattle you could work for a specific organization that studies the enviroment.
2. If you are looking for a more forward thinking government agency, I would say that the California Environmental Protection Agency is a good place to work for. They are based in Sacramento, but they have locations throughout the state and employ over 4,000 people. http://www.calepa.ca.gov/
