  1. High cost of living is what happens in a socialist nation! You end up paying for the government to take care of everyone! Unlike the capitalist society we have here in the US, where you are much more entitled to what you make, compared to a socialist country. Unfortunately, we too have some socialist characteristics in our society (welfare, public housing, medicaid) not nearly as much as Canada or Europe though. Socialism works to create a class envy between the haves and the have nots, not to mention they like to point out any and all racial inequalities to spark further divide among people! Socialism forces the people that create capital and work hard in a country, to pay for the so called less fortunate, which a majority are perfectly capable of working and caring for themselves, but do not because they have a government that gives them free handouts. How are you to get people to care for themselves when you give them free money? But there in lies the power trap of socialism, create a class of people dependant on the government, which in turn gives the government more power and a larger 'entitlement' voting base! Plus, many businesses are state owned, which takes away competition and the drive to create better services and products, since state owned businesses do not have to compete in the free market! Making a stagnant less effective business. Land is usually state owned as well, so people do not own their own property!
  2. Yeah well .... Canada is a highly taxed country . Just try not to get a divorce there, you might owe more on spousal support then you actually make that month . Hey, but you have clean streets right ?
  3. well i would just move
  4. Recruit more black guys for your hockey teams.
  5. every time a white person expresses an opinion, it is not racism in canada or the usa
  6. Wow, that's not a chip on your shoulder: that's a log. You're right, though, that Canadians don't treat aboriginal people and new immigrants very well -- but neither does the U.S. No matter: it does sound like you should move back to California. Then your taxes will go towards killing foreigners instead of keeping citizens healthy and educated.
  7. Yes Canadians are very prejudiced against idiots. When idiots start ranting and demanding their 'due' when they haven't done much we get rude. When spoiled rich daddy's boy arrive from Iran with doodles that would insult even a sailor about western women, we get down right insulting. STFU azzhole. You 'sir' are a troll with no talent, no friends and no decency. P.S. after 10 years+ in north america learn to write and express yourself in an understandable manner. You are "intelligent" aren't you?
  8. It is a free market, you earn your keep. You work hard you make money. Canada owed you nothing. It is also a fallacy to believe that $99 goes to white people. I bet you and I have had the same education, have the same health care, use the same roads, and access to the same social programs (actually you may have access to more grants with regards to education and business as I am a white national and therefore not privy to monies allocated for diversity in education and business) I own my own company and pay well above the minimum wage. I employ a predominantly multicultural work force, so actually about 70% of what my business makes, goes to non white people. They are hard working people that have worked to my benefit to make my company a sucess and are therfore compensated accordingly. Canada is expensive for the reasons that we do have such extenseive social programs, and I assure you sir I have to pay the same for rent, I have to pay the exact taxes and I do most certianly have to pay the same for my utilities and other cost associated with living. I have worked for minimum wage, I have worked shoulder to shoulder with people from a multitude of cultures and ethnicities. Nobody said making a living was easy, and I do understand that there is difficulty in immigrations with regards to recognition of foreign qualifications. I do concede that needs to be addressed. However walking around with a chip on your shoulder thinking that Canada owes you every oppertunity in the world is not only naive it is irresponsible.
