Illegal Immigrants are absolutely wrong....what do you think???????

Ok, first of all I am not racist. I like everybody. But.....I absolutley am against people here in this country Illegaly ,stealing jobs from legal americans!!!! My state of Georgia is covered with illegal hispanic workers...stealing my tax dollars, from government funded services, that i would not have a problem them getting if they where here legaly. What is so hard about getting american citizen ship, and coming here legaly?? They save up money for their relatives as well as their selves to be smuggled here, so why not come here legaly??? I know for a fact that our tax dollars are being spent on stupid illegal immigrants....why...come here legaly and i wont have a problem, but if you come here illegaly gooooo hooome... what do yall think?????? And for everyone that disagrees with me, Think about it. If they want to come here(immigrants) then why do they not do it legaly? And yes they do take our jobs. Employers know that they can under pay them and over work them. Thats why some americans dont get the jobs..because they want a fair wage, not like illegals coming here. I agree, people have a right to come here. we are te greatest country in the world, but do it legaly, pay taxes, and i wont have a problem with it.its not just mexicans, its anyone here illegaly.

1. Well, the reason this is all going on is that the government wants to keep us busy fighting amongst ourselves so that we are too blind and busy to see how they are abusing their powers and taking our rights. So, to do that, they have started discussing numerous immigration reform bills...some that would come down hard on illegal immigrants...other bills that would give them a short cut to legal status that would put them in front of many who are legally trying to enter the country...and there are many sub-issues being tossed around. Does the gov't really want any reform? NO!!! They just want citizens to think that illegals are ruining our country and wasting taxpayer money. And they want the illegals to think that citizens are racist and heartless. This will lead to all the fighting and marching we have witnessed over the last several days. Reality is that if the government really wanted workers for the business, they could have them by raising the number of persons legally allowed to enter, and making the process easier and less expensive. But the government LIKES to have illegal people here. WHY? Because the businesses that control government want slave labor. That is currently frowned upon, so they get the next best thing...illegal immigrants...little pay, no complaints, scare tactics...it all keeps their underground workforce under tight control. All the while illegals are treated as criminal when the true criminals are our government and businesses. Don't get me wrong, I hate having people come here and break our laws, but the most angering part of the whole thing is that these laws are put into place out of an artificial need to keep immigration low and to appease middle class workers who do suffer from job/business loss due to influx of workers who are willing to work for far less than is enough to raise a family on."Our" government really doesn't give a damn about the middle class...who are the fools who vote these jerks into office based on the lies they are told. So, while illegals are wrong for being here, they are not the source of the problem. They are merely seeing an opportunity and grabbing it...similar to seeing a dollar bill on the ground in a crowded room with no way of knowing whose dollar it is...the first person who sees it is entitled to the dollar, because if they don't pick it up, the next guy who sees it certainly will. Of course none of this ranting leads to a solution, but I do get carried away from time to time. :) What can we do about all of this? Beats the hell outta me, but I know that calling people criminals and calling people racist doesn't solve anything, it just leads to more anger and more name calling and more distraction from truely important issues...which is what the government really wants!

5. It's a difficult situation to handle. It is true that immigrants end up taking the jobs that Americans don't want. They aren't taking our jobs, because we're not even taking those jobs. Gaining citizenship status is never an easy path, and the laws probably need to be updated to give people a fighting chance. In the long run, if we could have taxes from all of these illegals, the debt would be far less.

I think you're right, unfortunately, the politicians, who are taking money by the handsful, from the companies and farmers who are hiring these illegal aliens at 1/4 what they would pay you or I to do the same job, don't agree with you. Remember that come November, if you don't like it the way it is, don't vote Republican.
7. We need to work with Mexico to build up their economy so that they will have to keep people from Guatemala out of their southern border for jobs. See how they like it then.
8. The magic word here is illegal. I think the way to fix it is to arrest anybody that employs them and make them do serious jail time also they should be fined a huge amount so as to take the advantage of not paying standard wage away from them. Easy formula. No work= no job = no illegal immigrants.

Any businesses that employ illegals should be fined heavily. I have no problem with immigrants. Just enter the country according to our laws. If you want to become a citizen, fine. They do no harm the government just doesn't get their share of the $$ from the employers of the illegal immigrants..Reasons most hipanics can't get a visa is because they want permanenet residency in the stataes to which their country is not in favor of, AGAIN because their GOV won't get $$ from them leaving their country... Plus if you look back to original history and the real settlers of the states Hispanics were already here co-existing with the natives..So for me to get racists I say the whites or anglo saxons were the ones who came to setle on this borrowed land and decided to claim it as their own, not being so..And if they couldn't have it just by imposing on the original settlers adn natives they decided to try to WIPE out any other race besides themselves or themselves to , for those who opposed........

14. Illegal immigrants usually do small-time jobs. I don't think you would be so proud of doing any of their tasks. Almost all of them are normally poor people that leave their country in the hope of sustaining their family. Can you condemn that?

18. Yes I think we should not accept illegal immigrants in the country. They need to be legal and pay taxes along with everyone else. However i think the way congress is going about resolving the situation is wrong. The united states needs to set an example for the rest of the world by treating all people humanely, its not about race, or even their legal status. That being said a more effective solution would be making it harder for illegal immigrants to get in, in the first place. It is also extremely difficult, all most impossible for many to get an american citizenship. Its not that they want to live here with out paying taxes, its that they cant citizenship. 20. I don't like when people say "The immigrants are stealing our jobs"...when was the last time you heard of an immigrant "stealing" a good job? You don't hear, "Jose Rodriguez stole that bank teller job from me!"..Immigrants "take" jobs that no one wants to do. When was the last time you woke up and said, "Hey I want to go out a lay brick in 100 degree weather for 8 bucks an hour for 12 hours 6 days a week". Or the last time you wanted to wash dishes behind a hot ass restaurant. If immigrants are stealing those kinds of jobs from you, then you deserve to get it taken from you cause you have been handed more opportunity to excel than they have. And your comment about "How hard is it to become a citizen?" If you really thought it was that easy, do you think these immigrants with no money would save up to 5,000 dollars to be smuggled here? Then tax dollars...when was the last time you saw a Hispanic pay with food stamps? I dare you to go to a food stamp office and count how many Hispanics you see looking for a hand out...We pay cash friend, for cars, food, homes etc...do some research...now there are exceptions to every rule, just like with any race, but 95% of what I saw is true with 95% of Hispanics Or in your words "immigrants".
21. Honestly I think you need to calm down. "They" are not stealing your jobs, they work jobs in substandard working conditions for substandard wages, do you really want to pick lettuce in 104 degree temps? Do you want to wash dishes in the rat infested back rooms of a restaurant? If you have a problem with them taken those jobs your crazy. Also if you believe the problem is them its not it is the governments of Mexico for not supporting their people and the US government for not fining the companies who hire them or for not just closing the borders to anyone without a visa or proper papers already on file. This is a major issue and not one that can be answered by sending people "home". I do believe that it is called illegal for a reason and "undocumented" is just a way to side step the issues for many. I think that if the government really wanted to send them home all they would need to do is have the INS or border patrol agent go to these rallies and round them up. Of course some of those employees also have family who are here illegally.
22. I agree they are a problem and expensive, but the solutions that are on the table now <from all parties> are an insult to me, a USA citizen, and to them. Human dignaty above all. First, the Mexican's are mirgrating here because their home country sucks, and neglects to take care of them. So, at the heart of the REAL issue is: What can we do to influence our neighbor, the Mexican Government, to take better care of its citizens. I can't imagine hating my country so bad that I would risk my life, and my babies life to get out. If we could influence the Mexican government to take better care of their citizens, then we would have better "Free Trade" agreements and then allow the Canadians, US citizens, and Mexicans to freely trade and travel amid the boarders. Second, since this has been a on going problem it will take a while for us to find a dignified way to correct the problem. Fences at boarders and gathering and shipping them back are stupid and dangerious solutions. Additionaly, we have the problem of "Employers" hiring them illegally so they can receive low cost labor <slavery> and this is destroying their human dignaty as well. I suspect that the organized protests are actually provided from these seeking low cost employment <slave traders>.

25. I do not believe that any illegal immigrants in this country have the right of petition or of free speech. They are not citizens of this country, do not pay taxes and should thus not have the right to walk on our roads and ask for rights from our courts while lowering our minimum wage, taking our jobs, filling our prisons, and filling our emergency rooms when they get hurt and cant pay. I have nothing against mexicans or any other race individually, however I do believe that if you wish to come into this country and have rights you must follow our laws in doing so just as you must when you become a citizen. If anyone from any country wishes to be "free" and thinks that they can just come into america and be a citizen without following our laws because we just "came" here and immigrated they are wrong. I would be happy to walk anyone through the world/civil wars the citizens of our country has fought to keep our country what it is, if others do not with to follow our laws in order to be a part of this country then they can all get on a boat leave their country, settle another 3rd world country, then live and fight in horrible conditions for hundreds of years in order to gain freedom just like the forefathers of America did.
