Fema Employment

can anyone tell me what is wrong with georgia?

this state shows the poor folk that it doesn't give danm about them. why is it that transportation can't be better. the government down here are working very hard to keep the struggling ppl down. min. wage is 5.15. companies will hire someone they know with no experience weather than hire a person who knows that job like the back of their hand. why is it that this state show favoritism towards ppl who already have something in life than trying to help someone in need. THIS ISTHE MOST SELFISH, SELF-CENTERED I HAVE EVER BEEN IN. I HATE IT HERE. ALL OF YOU PEOPLE ON HERE MUST BE FROM GEORGIA. I WAS ASKING A QUESTION AND THATS IT. BUT YOU DUMB F###S DOWN HERE JUST CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH. you all have proven my point about most people in georgia being a##holes. BY THE WAY ... I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO LEAVE YOUR F####N state.

  1. Tough question but in the end...the rich get richer and the poor too often get poorer....
  2. Leave. Btw, the minimum wage is $5.15 everywhere until GWB's bill to raise it goes into effect.
  3. Considering your spelling (or lack there of) and your grammar, I wouldn't hire you either.
  4. I live in GA and have found just the opposite. I've used public transportation in cities all over the country and I have found Marta to be the safest and cleanest by far. I live in a smaller town, and people are very helpful here. I am a strong believer that it is not the governmet's job to provide for us. The state of GA provides free Pre-K and free state college to people who live in the state. That is pretty generous, and takes care of people who normally wouldn't have that option. The federal government sets min. wage not the state so don't blame Perdue for that one, it is out of his hands. Even if it were higher it would just raise the cost of living and you'd be back where you started. I don't mean to sound harsh, but it sounds like you need to quit whining and help yourself. Either that or move.
  5. It's the air wafting across the river from SC. Trust me on this. That's what it is. If you want a serious answer, there is a purposeful effort in the southern states to maintain a degree of history. You are experiencing what happens when history is respected to the degree that the attitude is "'nothin' round here will change." When the history of a place dictates its future, there is a need to maintain the status quo. Families that are in power in places like that fear change. God knows, they're fear that they may lose social status and not be able to pick or hand-select their leaders, from the preachers to the politicians. If they lose power, they won't have influence. That scares them so they do their best to keep things the way they are. Since there is no growth, no one wants to move there, there will be few, if any new businesses. So, the few jobs go to the people who are already entrenched in their limited system, their friends. I could go on and I won't, its the way things are and its unfortunate. I agree, if you want something positive to occur, move. Atlanta, perhaps?
  6. So leave, I understand Cuba is nice. Everyone there is on the same economic level.
