Is 2001 Anthrax attack an inside job by US Government? What is the outcome of investigation?
Public Comments
- Have you been snorting anthrax again? My nose is itchy.
- They did find that the anthrax was a US grade. Outcome of the investigation hmm haven't heard, but that really doesn't surprise me. Where did bin laden get the money for the attacks, they said that wasn't important. What happened to 3 trillion dollars that the state department lost...no one knows. Seems we don't get a lot answers. What bothers me is why are we not demanding answers.
- First of all the Anthrax was not "Weapons Grade" Anthrax, if it had been everyone that got within 50 yards of the envelopes would have died quickly, not over a few days...but it was made in the US...their is a difference between Anthrax and "Weapons Grade" Anthrax...I just think it was some wacko that saw an opportunity to kill a few people in a time when it would be hard to track them down because everyone would first think it was done by terrorist...we were told, I was in the Army then, that all the people that had taken the Anthrax Vaccine would have been immune to this Anthrax because we were vaccinated for the "Weapons Grade" stuff...and all the vaccine really did was give them 12 more hours to try to save you...
- I don't think there really was an investigation to speak of. I remember at the time the belief was that the anthrax originated at Fort Detrick in my hometown, but the story just kind of dissappeared. As for it being an inside job, who knows. It could be, but only some sort of independent investigation of the facts and the evidence would give us any confidence in such an assertion. It does seem strange that it was sent to people on the left like Tom Daschle, who were in a position to pose a challenge to post 9/11 policy, or to actually investigate 9/11, which the Bush administration was actively trying to avoid and ultimately limit when they could no longer hold out against the call for an investigation.
- That's a good question, it's funny how we never learned the outcome of any investigation, there are no updates on the search for those responsible, in short, it stinks!
