What does this mean: Have you ever been debarred from government employment.?
Is that the same thing as not getting a job in government?
Public Comments
- You can be "barred" from government employment, but I've never heard of someone being "debarred." I've even heard of "disbarred" but not "debarred."
- It means you'll have to think outside of the box. Try either starting your own government or overthrowing this one.
- This means that you are no longer allowed by law to hold any government job. This usually happens when you commit a crime while holding government office.
- Debarred from government means that a person was not allowed to serve the government again after being removed from office.
