Filing taxes for foreign government employment?

Hello, I just got a job at an Embassy in Washington D.C. However, my paychecks will not deduct the tax like on your normal paycheck. As a American Citizen, do I need to file this come tax time next year, and how do I go about doing it? Should I keep all my paystubs? So confused, thank you in advance.
