if you file 1099 misc form 10999.00 income 10221.00 taken out in federal what does this mean?
reveiwing one of my applicants past return he filed self employment last year and got back quite a few thousand i narrowed it down to these direct number what does this mean to you?

- It means you have made up something that makes no sense.
- It sounds to me like someone had $10,999 in income, but asked to have $10,221 of it paid to the federal governement either in backup withholding, or because they asked them to. Now as for why.... no idea!
