- The best way is to know someone within the government who will sponsor you--that's just the way it is in spite of all the B.S. that it's fair.

- STOP the presses...Gary...wrong site my friend....Official Government jobs are located at www.usajobs.opm.gov Nix the .com website. That is a private enterprise trying their best to fool the people of our nation. If you are interested in working for the Army, you could try www.cpol.army.mil. The other branches also have their own civilian personnel websites...just google them. There are great opportunities for working in overseas locations as well.
