Is it true that Canada government is initiating special programs to enable newcomers in Canada get jobs there?

I am a potential immigrant to Canada and want to know about job prospects after going there?

1. Nobody is going to help you find a job. And you can only immigrate without having already lined up a job if you fulfill certain conditions: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp If you want to immigrate into any country the first thing you should do is look for the government website and read up on their immigration rules.
2. In Canada you are provided with various mentoring programs that help you settle there faster. You can join these programs to get some help. besides, these mentorship programs, Canada Government does not run any programs. However, periodically, some job fairs are organized by various private bodies, keep visiting them- these should be helpful
