What efforts are being done by Canadian government to help locals, immigrants get prepared for jobs in Canada?

Are there any special programs being launched by the government in this regard?

  1. The taxpayers pay for public primary and secondary education for children. Adults are responsible for themselves. Immigrants are only welcome if they are willing & able to contribute to the country, the people and the economy. Pay your own way or return to your own country. If you need language classes, find an adult ed program and pay for it. If you need to learn the history & culture, find an adult ed program and pay for it. You need education and/or job skills, you enroll in school and pay for it. You get what you work for and/or pay for. Actually, immigrants are supposed to have sufficient education & skills to support themselves + their entire family in order to be eligible for immigration. As for Canadian-born citizens, they had the benefits of public schools available to them, and the rest they pay for themselves.
  2. In recent times, Immigrants are finding it extremely difficult to find decent jobs. Canada government is initiating several programs to update the skills and work experience of immigrants in Canada for enabling them get jobs in Canada. The aim of Canada government through such job programs in Canada is to help the new immigrant arrivals. In such programs, the Government of Canada is working in close collaboration with various Canadian territories and provinces, community organizations and several stakeholders to help update skills, training and opportunities of jobs in Canada.
