how far back do employers check employment history for a government job?

I am applying for a government job and they are running a background check on me. i have 4 jobs listed on my resume but they are from 6 and 7 years ago so im not sure these people will even remember me working there because i didnt stay there long. and i wasnt even sure i put the correct contact info on there. will they check those jobs or just the jobs that were recent or that i was working with for more than a year?

  2. That will depend on the job. If it requires any sort of security clearance they go back to your birth.
