Canada employment insurance programs for career change?
I have been reading up online and still not finding very much about this subject. I thought I would ask here if anyone has gone back to school and been funded through EI? I am looking to change my career and take a 4 year university program to do so. I am hoping to be able to obtain some funding through EI to help out with living expenses and tuition. I remember about 10 years ago, my neighbor went to school for 2 years and EI paid for 80% of his, plus expenses of living. Does anyone know if this is still the same? Where could I look for better information, the government website is confusing me.

- im pretty sure to apply for this you must be laid off! my friends husband did this and just finished his 14 months program last year! they only paid for his schooling tho! as his wife was working!
