i was recently hired in government in the student temp. employment program. what is pro rated salary?

- An example would be if the job paid $500 a week , & you were only working three days per week, your pro rated (adjusted) pay would be $300. Basically pro rated means adjusted due to some variance in time worked compared to the "normal" time.
