What are the major federal laws regarding Equal Employment Opportunity? How does an organization incorporate affirmative action into its recruiting strategy?

- Most companies do not need to use AA as a recruiting strategy and in many cases would actually be illegal to show preference to an individual based solely upon their race. You would benefit to research not only AA, but EEO acts as to what is legal and what is not. Since quotas are illegal, and usually a company can only use race as a determining factor is that is the basis of their business. Using race as a basis for recruiting in a community that has several different racial populations, would be illegal in most cases. Learn the law before using something that could get you fined or shut down due to illegal hiring practices.
