Can we do MCA after B.Sc IT?? [No Maths In Graduation But Did Have Maths in HS]?

I have heard that almost every university in India requires maths as compulsory subject in graduation in order to be eligible for MCA !!! Is it true?? Also I have persuaded the course from Kuvempu university [Distance learning], can I apply for government jobs? Thnx.
