Can I receive unemployment benefits if I am a student?
I need a job for the summer and just got done with my college semester. I am taking summer courses and am receiving federal non-taxable money for school. I need a job and am having difficulty finding employment. Am I eligible to collect unemployment? Could someone explain it? I am having difficulty understanding this.

- Unemployment benefits are there for people who have worked and lost their job. If you have not worked, you are not eligible. Receiving money from the government does not count.
