when a scheduled caste girl get married to a higher caste boy,can she still apply for government jobs as a SC?

4. Yes definitely. The Caste of a person is by birth not her marital status. A person belonging to S.C. Category can always use the facilities available to him or her anytime of her lifetime whether before the marriage or after marriage. The surname the S.C. wife take of her other then S.C. caste husband will not bring her under the other caste,she remains S.C. through out her life. However children born to the couple will not be able to apply or seek the S.C. caste for themselves as for them the caste of their father shall only be the Caste not that of their mother. All this information based on the Principle of Law laid down by the Supreme Court of India in various cases decided by it.
