Would a dual citizen find government jobs unavailable to him?
If one had American citizenship from birth and Italian citizenship via decent, and planned on working towards a degree majoring in international relations, with hopes for a job as a foreign service officer or diplomat for the U.S. government, would he be disappointed with career prospects? Are there other possible routes?

- I don't think so. I have a government job and I have dual citizenship. Just make sure you don't loose you certificate of birth abroad or you may want to invest in a certificate of citizenship issued NIS.
