Too many immigrants in Canada?

What the hell is going on with our country? After serving in the military, and having lived in almost every province in Canada, I am left in shock. I now reside in Ontario where I am minority as a white person. Every car that passes me, every person working at the local supermarket, gas station, movie store, doctors office; all immigrants. etc.etc.etc. I don't even have one white neighbor to relate with. My neighbors are all a mix of middle east/ china/ etc. They all keep to themsleves, no one is friendly. What happened to the good times when we could all share a coffee together? True born Canadians have such a crisis with no jobs, so hey here is a brilliant plan, lets ship in large amounts of uneducated immigrants. WTF?? Only 20% of the immigrants are educated (according to the govenment stats) and will actually benefit our country. The rest come here, and land low wage jobs, then complain that they get paid crap. Some of my best friends in life are from China & Croatia. I honestly don't care what colour your skin is, but there should be a cap on the number of immigrants coming in my country when we are already in such a labour crisis. I also want to mention that the provinces that still have a majority of white population are some of the cleanest, most beautiful places in Canada. Ontario, especially LONDON, is the dirtiest, run down city I have seen in all of Canada. I do believe the MASSIVE immigrant population places a key role in this. The other day I watched a young well groomed white male come running out of a department store stealing clothing. Tags all hanging off. Within 2 minutes the police arrived and arrested him. The police were all foreigners, and it all seemed like such a bizzar scene. Now its the white man ( not the black) that is jobless, desperate and treated unfairly. Why the hell can't we all just get along? The government needs to put a cap on immigration, and those of here now need to be getting along. Do you think the immigation is out of hand?

1. I live in a little city outside Oklahoma City called Enid and I don't think you have any immigration problems compared to us. It's so bad I am moving to Brandon, Manitoba.......... ok that move is for work but what ever.
2. So you're complaining, it seems because white people aren't in the privileged seats anymore? BOB M: 1 in 3 people are British... What fucking bullshit. Do you have any statistics, facts and evidence to back you up? Something that doesn't come from the BNP web page? Will you take back all the European immigrants from other countries such as this lovely young woman here? No? You just want the world to revolve around dear sweet you. 3. Surely Canadians (or Americans) can't complain about immigration! Your countries were founded by immigrants! We in Europe can complain about it though if we want =D! o/j

For one time, canada had economy crisis and really needed money, so your government widely opened the door for immigrants to attract investora as low as $500,000 investment for a whole family, and whoever with college degrees ( so that your government doesnt have to pay for their education to get skillful people ) plus other immigration catagoreis could easily immigrate to canada. Many immigrants are skillful and well educated, thus in such an economy when jobs have become less, the white people start finding competitions. Dont forget, when canada was in the economy crisis, these immigrants really did help canada improve the economy with their investments, so, you should bear with the current situation and wait for the recovery of global economy.
5. Yea I know exactly what you are talking about. I live in the UK and its a hell over here. I dont know when officials are goin to notice this. 1 in 3 people are British - it is that bad. I cant understand why the EU, US, Australia and New Zeland are letting so many people from Africa, Middle east and especilly Asia (indians etc) come and settle. These people have 4 kids each and mixed children. As it is the 'white' polulation is so less - and it is decreasing day by day. All these Indian and Arab men are everywhere. They call us rasicts - but we are not. Arent we just tired of them being all over the place? Just because we are allowing them and giving them so much freedom they start calling us what ever they want. Why dont Africans and other people who come to the EU dont go to India or some other place? - it is because they will feel weird there as every one will be racial towards them in those countries. In London, UK - 1 in 3 people are NOT indians.These people just come from all over the place. And the biggest problem is that they are starting to have mixed children. In a few years time everyone on the street will look like an outsider. The problem is really very big. Why cant the goverments ensure our own life quality, jobs etc. before thinking about immigrants.
6. Immigration huh? I remember reading in my history books that the white people that had taken over Canada from the Native people were also known as immigrants. To Bob I'm not Indian but the last time I checked, the UK does have a lot of Indian people. Not a bad thing really. I guess that's what you call karma, didn't the British invade, rule, kill, and take advantage of them years ago? PS: Really good points Sulu. I can relate and agree to every one of your points. 7. I understand your frustration with a changing landscape and its new face. You equate being Canadian with being beneficial as opposed to being a recent immigrant. However,the problem in your argument is that you equate being Canadian with being WHITE! While you continuously state that your friends are from this ethnicity and that, you still believe that its THEIR fault that Canadian cities are headed in the wrong direction. I am not white but I consider myself Canadian because I speak the language flawlessly and aim to improve THIS COUNTRY when I am done my education. However, if you met me on the street, you would lump me with "immigrants"! There are immigrants that come from Europe who also bring their own sets of problems yet you would never blame them. For instance your story of the man ROBBING a store. For all you know, hes just arrived from Europe and the "immigrants" arresting him have lived here for GENERATIONS! The fact that hes even being punished for his actions is a testament to the success of this country. Its not about your color, ethnicity but about your actions. Justice is served accordingly! The reason your neighbours are not friendly is for the same reason your are irritated, F-E-A-R! So please be proud of the advancements we made and be proud that we can accept people from all over the world. (And black people dont not need to be at the bottom to create a feeling of "balance" in society)
8. I hope you know that many of the immigrants that come to Canada are white Europeans. You don't seem to acknowledge this in your question. What is a "true born Canadian"? Someone who is born and raised in Canada or someone who is white and born and raised in Canada? Some of my cousins, born and raised in Canada, have fantastic jobs. They are the children of African immigrants. Not all immigrants are uneducated. There are many very educated immigrants from East Asia, the Middle East, and Africa yet they are stuck having to take up minimum wage jobs because they weren't educated in a Western or white-populated country. And haven't you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, it's possible that not all white Canadians are educated? Lack of higher education is a major factor in unemployment. If you don't care about race, then why do you keep mentioning how you can't relate to anybody because they're not white? Or how it bothers you that you, as a white person, feel like a minority? Poverty in Canada has always existed, immigration is not the cause of it. Also, in case you haven't been paying attention in school, white Canadian families are having too few children so there aren't enough born to replace the ones that die. If it weren't for immigration we would be facing a major population deflation. This is basic knowledge in Canadian schools. Also, it is very hard for Asians and Africans to immigrate to Canada. It is much, much easier for Europeans. This is also something that is taught in grade 9 geography. You wouldn't be here if it weren't for European immigrants, this land originally belongs to the Natives. In my opinion, a true Canadian is Native. Everyone else is still Canadian but are descended from immigrants.
9. Well, I don't know if it's true but I've heard that the Canadian government is starting to follow in the footsteps of the Australian government (i.e. EXTREMELY hard to get residency).
