Are the liberals no more than a continuation of conservative policy in Ontario?
The Employment Standards Act is being subverted into uselessness by corporate lawyers and their exploitation of economic inducements from the government itself 33 % of the work force in Ontario is no longer covered by the very basic codes of law severance pay and so forth ...... nor are they entitled to review before the law should they feel themselves wrongly fired 1/3 of the Province is without these most basic rights because the job agency market in Ontario has created a "non employee" a contract worker . People now work at factories and warehouses for years as a contract employee status . It is clear that the corporations are happy to have a complete workforce of non employees They pay the job agencies up to 28 dollars an hour per employee Most of these employees earn between 8 and 10 dollars for the privilege of making labour pimps fat and creating a non employee for the corporation who now has no obligations to fulfill The Employment Standards Act is now a useless and worthless piece of paper When will we wake up to the fact that this subversion has been maintained by the current liberal government and the NDP hasn't said boo about this newly created class system of right less workers and workers with rights ? And the conservatives ? Nope not a word from them either The majority of the 33 % live in the cities and are immigrants and especially immigrant women . The people caught in this status of "contract worker" or right less worker but not an employee are the ones least likely to know what "rights" are Most of them never had any rights in the nations they came from ---- They have no idea what has been stolen from them because they never had it to begin with What is this ? The Indian occupation all over again but this time we are importing the Indians Pakistanis Iranians and so on to be our lower class doesn't have rights communities ? Do we have to continue under Imperial doctrines of legislative powers ? These were all the same policies implemented before to maintain and feed the British Empire ---- None of us had a problem with that back then --- I do now . Whose Empire are we feeding now and must this Empire always be funded by the poorest and most ignorant ? ************ Isn't part of being a constitutional monarchy the idea that the Crown will prevent extremely harmful or dangerous legislation from passing ? Wasn't that part of the original deal ? The house of commons would represent the common man who would make laws to govern themselves And the Monarch acting as head of State would only maintain the power to stop legislation that would either be harmful to the interests of the State or her peoples ? And is there not a representive of the Crown in the Province and another one in Ottawa ? Why has the Crown not used it's rights and powers to stop some of this garbage these Houses are passing ?
