Is it true that federal jobs up for less on USAJObS than a week are up for someone in specific.?
I've heard that its just formality to have a job posted sometimes and that sometimes a hiring manager posts the job for a friend, or a friends child in specific. If for some reason, if this person does not make the qualified-cut, then they will just hire no one and start from the top. http://megawatisoekarnoputri.cn/jobs-job.html http://megawatisoekarnoputri.cn/jobs-job.html http://megawatisoekarnoputri.cn/jobs-job.html http://megawatisoekarnoputri.cn/jobs-job.html http://megawatisoekarnoputri.cn/jobs-job.html

- This isn't how it officially works, however in my experience this is how it really works. They have to post it to sidecut government unions and hiring laws to get their friends hired. Often someone is selected before any job listing is posted.
- Many of the jobs offered on USAJobs can be applied for without any relevant training or work history. Being a former member of the military services can lead to a hiring preference, but the only times that I have seen jobs get offered as a formality (when the hiring manager already has a particular applicant in mind) is through the services civilian personnel advisory centers. These organizations are part of the "good ol' boy" network. Often times dependant spouses are blocked from obtaining jobs as a military service department civilian because the manager has already hand picked their choice. I have seen numerous examples of this here in Germany. All to often, and it is sad to say, but these job openings turn into Affirmative Action gone amok. Even where I am located in Germany, at the garrison post office, the in-processing center, and many of the infrastructure positions, many white men or non-minority ethnicity women are passed over for a minority candidate, who often times has less relevant experience for the job being applied for. There is a totally homogenous work force at this location (non-white). Unfortunately, it is not representative at all of the overall demographic breakdown in this location. Once a person "knows" the right people, there are an unlimited number of jobs available. If you don't know the right people, you're in for an extended job search; worse yet if you're white male or a non-ethnic minority woman.
