will a hernia that you had surgery on disqualify you from being a police officer?
I'm going for a job with the federal govt with TSA and I have my medical exam on friday. I had a congential hernia which I had repaired on 12/31/2008. Do you think I'll be alright?

- I had a hernia and I got in, BUT it was 25 years before I was hired. Unless you can't pass a physical test, I wouldn't see it being a problem.
- man..i had a inguinal hernia. Hernias are so common, i would imagine you should be fine.
