The following advertisement appeared in a local newspaper. We are looking for energetic, recent graduates who have an MBA degree and at least five years of working experience in the field of general management. This job will involve some overnight travel on a regular basis-an understanding family is a must. Is this ad within the federal guidelines for employment practices?

- I see nothing wrong with it. The part about "an understanding family is a must" probably means previous employees had families that griped about them traveling so much. If it said "white people only" or "whilte males only", THEN it would have violated guidelines.
- I don't see issue with it, remove the understanding family line. It's unnecessary.
