No, I do not believe that Revelation 6 is unfolding, for the simple reason that before the seals are opened, the Rapture occurs (Revelation 4:1). Since the Rapture hasn't happened, Revelation 6 can't be in progress. But to answer your final question, yes, I'm preparing for His return. Maranatha!

John's vision was of the entire history of the world, from the beginning to the end. When he wrote Revelations, he was already living in the Fifth Seal. Seal 1 was the introduction of death. That occurred when Cain killed Abel. Seal 2 brought war. War has been part of our history for millennia. Seal 3 brought pestilence and famine. Again these have been part of our history for millennia. Seal 4 we see more death, war, pestilence and famine. Seal 5 is the martyrdom of the faithful. Christ's disciples died for their beliefs as well as hundreds of followers and has been ongoing since. This leaves Seals 6 & 7. We are now living in 6, The massive earthquake prophesized was not to occur at the opening of the seal, but during the time period of the 6th seal. And, the same holds true with the 7th seal. While the 7th seal will eventually see the Second Coming, there are still many things that need to happen before that event. But, we are now close to that opening of the 7th seal.
