Fema Employment

Can millions of liberal draft dodgers in Federal employment breathe a sigh of relief today?

Looks like some Liberal judge has given them a break. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090127/ap_on_re_us/selective_service_law I know Joe Biden is sleeping easier over this.

  2. I'm sure Dick Cheney is happy he gets to keep his pension.
  3. I wonder if the larger amount of conservatives are as well. Hmm. I've heard they're good at chicken-hawking as long as their neck isn't under the ax.
  4. the majority of people who left the country to avoid the draft stayed in the respective country they fled to. The rest went to jail.
  5. I'd laugh at the level of stupidity that this question represents, but it's just too pathetic to be funny.
  6. The draft dodger I remember the clearest is your buddy Bush. When I was in Vietnam, he was skipping his flight physical in the Air National Guard which he was using to avoid service in the war. His daddy got him THAT job (the Guard was VERY hard to get into during Vietnam) and he couldn't even do that much. There were some real suspicions at that time that there was a good reason he didn't show for the exam. Like maybe he couldn't pass it for some reason? Like the blood test?
  7. It probably occurred to that judge that if he made it to where a federal job was banned for anyone who dodged the draft, that President Bush would never have actually been President. Vice President Cheney would never have been Vice President. At least half the Republicans in Congress would not be in Congress. You can attack him as a "Liberal Judge" all you want; but he just saved what is left of the Republican Party. Had he ruled the other way, at least 3/4 of the party would have to go. The only two left? John McCain and Lindsey "Grahamnesty" (as you guys so lovingly like to call him). The two Republicans you guys would have left would be the ones you all constantly attack as too Liberal.
  8. Well i'm a conservative and i think if this "ACT",as it stands now, stays the way it is then all young men, who are LEGALLY required to register when they turn 18, should do so "without prejudice." Fair enough for you?
  9. I don't like the excuse that Tucker guy made. How could you NOT know you had to register? Did he not go outside, or watch television, or live outside a bubble? 20 years ago you saw all sorts of advertisements everywhere you went reminding you to register. So Tucker's excuse doesn't hold water. Anyway, draft dodgers have always got off easy. This is nothing new. And, btw, Joe Biden didn't dodge the draft. His health problems prevented him from joining the service. He was a very sickly child. It's not nice to make jokes about things you don't know about.
