Military to federal job?
I was recently discharged from the Navy in June(honorable), and I am currently trying to find out where to go or who to contact for possible positions on a federal fire or federal police department. I know they give extra points on the test to veterans. I currently live in ventura county, CA. I was thinking of going to a nearby base and asking those guys what to do. Can anyone please help me out? Thank you!!

- Try USAJOBS, they have alot, and you can search by agency. Also, you can try CPOL.

- Go to your local employment office. They have a whole section of people that are dedicated to just veterans. They can tell you all sorts of websites and companies that are "military-friendly" Hope this helps
