Should Canada refuse to let Israeli teachers teach at our Universities?

There is a government union leader ,Syd Ryan,who said his union wants that Israeli teachers not be allowed to teach in Canadian colleges and universities due to what is going on in Gaza .Is he out of line? Is he right to try and use his position to influence Canada ? Should he have a government job in Canada when he is displaying bias favoring Hamas who Canada recognizes as terrorists?

1. Close-mindedness does not solve dilemmas, it only creates them.
2. We definitely should fire him.
3. The Israeli and Palestinian people just want to get on with their lives. It is politicians that make wars.
4. I think he is out of line and it is very wrong. I don't believe it has anything to do with a Israel's teaching ability, but is based on his personal political views, and that has no Business in schools anyway.
5. And if the situation was reversed and it was a Palestinian teaching, what would be the reaction of Canadians then?
6. Yes, I think he's way out of line. That's just basically blaming someone who has nothing to do with that war who isn't even there. No matter how anyone views it, that's discrimination. Maybe the united states should NOT allow any Iraqi, or Lebanese people be employed after 911, it wouldn't be any different than what Canada is trying to do.
