Fema Employment

My boss asked me to do Illegal things at work, I refused, then i got fired!. Help!?

(Toronto,Ontario) I got fired from my job recently because I refused to do Illegal actions my boss forced me to do at work. I work at a private college. A small collage that is operating legally on the out side ONLY. Yet inside (at work), we apply for Employment Insurance for individuals who don't even come to school! and charge the Ontario government $17,000 for a fricken massage therapy course that they both split it's profits (between college and student)! those individuales don't even show up to school! besides all that, they also have specialized team to make phone calls and also receive phone calls from the gevernment I.E. pretending that they are other individuals to get applications accepted and funded quicker (they have many pay-as-you-go receiving cell numbers which they use to receive calls from the numbers they give out on application to the government. And above that, They hire Individuals from over seas to get them the Permanent Resident Status in Canada! these individuals don't even have any thing to do at the college they don't show up to work. they just pay taxes and get a fake letter of employment to look like they are working somewhere and this way they trick Immigration-Canada to give them working permits and eventually P.R. Cards! the college charges large sums of money for doing that! all in cash! I have proof of deceit! and i was fired for being Honest! Who can i report them to? How can i stop them from stealing the government? I don't want my job back, i just want to stop this college from operating this illegal scheme. Please help? I have proofs! This is Very Serious.

  1. get a lawyer and sue his ass!
  2. SUE HIS ASS!!
  3. I would contact a lawyer, then probably, with the lawyers help take it to the government offices.
  4. The police is your best bet. Show them your proff and testify against them in court. You could also sue and get money because they fired you for refusing to do illegal things.
  5. I don't know much about Canadian law, or the legal system to be honest. But according to the interweb, you should report it to your nearest RCMP, or as we in America call them, the funny dudes on horses.
  6. write a letter to the mgmt and a letter to the corporate fraud protection in canada...... should .......work
  7. Do you have any documentation to prove all this? You should have been gathering evidence while you were still working there! I don't know about Canada, but you could call the equivalent of the FBI, and/or the Government, Workman's Compensation. Tell them your suspicions and as much information as you can! Names would be nice, if you have any! The people who are on the "take"!! As for you, tell them what this boss forced you to do! Also call the Immigration authorities!!! My question is, what kind of a college is this!? Doesn't sound kosher to me! Do it quick, time is of the essense!
  8. Write a letter outlining all your concerns with as many details as possible and send it to the Minister at Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities in your area and your local MP, link below gives contact details. If it does not get taken with the seriousness you think it deserves go public and contact the press, newspapers and TV. Also go to your local employment office and start proceedings for unfair dismissal or whatever the Canadian proceedure is.
