Fema Employment

Do liberals choose a career in a field that produces nothing of value?

A Liberal will look for employment in field such as public education, an employee of local, county, state or federal government, an "activist," a lawyer, or a bureaucrat in a tax free foundation or an Non-Profit Organization devoted to advancing Liberal goals, etc. Then the Liberal will use government to extract wealth and ask for donations.

  1. Yes. Liberals offer nothing of value to the country. Liberals are blood sucking leeches.

  4. Either you're a troll or you're just really stupid.

  7. Kind of like the countries greatest pyramid scam
  8. So you feel education is a career that produces nothing of value? And as I recall, there are a number of Republican politicians. So that would then lead to the question, if government employee is of no value then why do so many Republicans do it? An activist is simply someone who fights for a cause. There are plenty of Republican ones, as evidenced by all the pro-life rallies and all. There are right-leaning lawyers, and you can look to Clarence Thomas and Antonin Scalia as proof. Both were once lawyers. And a lawyer is one who uses the law to protect your rights. I hardly consider that of no value. What do you call a pastor or priest, especially one such as Pat Robertson or Pat Buchanan, but a bureaucrat of a tax free foundation? A church is tax free, passes around plates asking for money, and they do a hell of a lot of trying to get their ideas and goals through Congress. And they have done it with some success, especially over the past 8 years. And I might remind you that Bush was the one who came up with the idea of "faith-based initiatives," which basically gives money to churches for their various projects. And they don't even have to ask for it.
  9. You know, it says everything anyone would ever need to know about Republicans that you think that teachers produce nothing of value. Although there are cases, yours for instance, where they ineveitably fail. Still. It's nice to know the GOP's position on Education and I'll help you spread the word.
  10. I'm a liberal and a teacher, and I produce something of infinite value to this country: educated people. I'm sorry for you if you believe that education has no value.
  11. I'm a time served carpenter and a qualified construction surveyor. I used my skills as a volunteer in Cuba, helping restore buildings in Old Havana. I'm self employed, so my (significant) tax bill contributes to Australia, and I'm happy knowing that my taxes pay for socialized medicine for people here less fortunate than myself.
  12. I think your broad stroking with your brush a bit, But it does seem as if the college courses that would most likely appeal to a liberals would be of very little use or value in the real world. Unless you consider demoralizing the country a good thing. God bless !
  13. YOU HIT A RAW NERVE WITH THAT QUESTION. It explains why they are so angry. They don't own anything and they barely make it in this world !
  14. YEAH - things like schools, little league and parks. Get a life.
