new jersey child support? Worth going through the courts?

My daughters fathers pays me $400.00 a month and has been consistent with doing so but i am struggling living in NJ. I am not on any assistance from the government except Nj family care that i have to pay partially for and I work 2 jobs and go to school. Recently he has stopped seeing his daughter because of issues in his own head in regards to raising her. I jus wanna know if anyone who has gone through the system if it is worth takin him to court for more money or should i jus accpet what i am givin and deal with it. He works only one job and is married with no other children but he makes more than me and has fewer bills. Any help would be welcomed.

  1. If you know how much me makes, google "new jersey child support calculator" to see how much he should be paying. That should give you an idea if it worth pursuing. However - you also need to determine how much court and attorney fees will be, and if you can afford to take him to court and NOT have the amount increased. Why not move somewhere less expensive?
