where can I find information about the program where the federal government buys your home if you move fr them
I have been offered a federal job in D.C., but live in the midwest but would not be able to pay 2 mortgages. Someone told me there was a program where the government will buy your in those kind of situations where you are moving to help them?

- Most employers, including the government, will help with moving expenses, such as the removal costs. Some employers will buy the home from the new employee so that they can move more quickly, but it is always at a discount. However, in this current climate, I would be surprised if anyone is doing this anymore. And if they are, you will not get nearly as much for your house as you expect. Talk to your HR contact to see if they are offering this.
