What will US citizens experience if the US reaches financial instability and becomes bankrupt?
It seems like the warning are getting louder and more frequent, and they're coming from those in position to understand the nature of the problem http://tinyurl.com/ysrqpt . If the federal government becomes backrupt, what will life here be like? Will we experience violence and social upheavals like those in third world countries? What about employment, living conditions, quality of life, and other normal mundane things we take for granted? What will happen to our monetary system? What solutions are being explored to mitigate this problem? What steps can I take to protect myself and my family?

- Good Question: According to the archaeological records in the Desert Southwest, the reason the Anasazi and Chaco Canyon cultures disappeared was, there was a long lasting drouth... nearly 200 years... and the people were forced to move away from their homes looking for water and food. When the Global Warming that so many AmeriKans are too stupid to believe in really get's going, the fields will dry up. A lot of people will starve because there is no food... just look at what is happening in the Sudan and other places in Africa today. The population will begin to drift away from their homes and cities in search of food and water. The first to suffer will be the very young and the very old... as well as all those human vegetables that society keeps alive today but will become a burden once resources are limited. The Federal Government ALREADY IS bankrupt... Bush just hasn't told the AmeriKan people what a hole this country is really in. I would guess that 100 years from now, or less... AmeriKa will become a subsistence nation... what you see in the African Nations today, will become the norm for AmeriKans.

We depend a lot for manufacturing from the People's Republic of China and if George Walker Bush tries to defend Taiwan as he has stated, he will have to backtrack otherwise China will cease making our products and our companies will be out of business pretty quick. Being in business is NOT easy but greed should not the the main goal. No business owner and/or managers can make money alone. It takes teamwork and decent pay otherwise is like Indenture Servitude. People with money have managed to convince the US Courts that low wages are not Indentured Servitude and the protect big money and that is why I longer respect so-called "Conservative" they conserve their wealth and power at the expense of average Americans. To fix this get rid of the Democrats and the Republicans since the US Constitution DOES NOT STATE that they are the only points of view. Have you noticed that they have been in power in the 1860s ? Why do you think the Democrats and Republicans once in office do not want a regular job even in the private sector? The answer is BETTER benefits and perk along with the prestige of power and better pay even when they do nothing.
- well in answer too your question you will receive quite a few diffirent answers but first I do believe it is going too happen its just a matter of time ,I also believe the the fit will survive I moved from the City and now Live in a small township in the south I have learned too raise animals ,a garden and the most important not to live above my means I dont have a credit card and dont need one I drive a good dependable car not a new one every several years ,I own my home its not a 275 thousand dollar brick in the middle of a big town but its mine PAID for I have taught my children too do all these things too so they will be prepared to take care of themselves . So I will tell u learn too live with out things u dont really need ,and learn some skills real survival skills im not talking stalking bears !! im talking can u survive without power?water?a roof over your head? medical help ? if you cant then you wont survive. and learn a trade that will allow you to barter or trade
