Hey, i wanted to be in the australian federal police or maby the homicide police or possible that swat police type job ( i forgot the australian police version) anyways Im farsighted meaning my up close vision can be a little blurry. But thats like in my face type close. I wear glasses sometimes for reading and computer but are not needed. I think my vision may be 20/40 but I think it might be in between so maby like a 20/30 20/25 I also have floaters, which almost everybody has and i see some tiny glitter like sparkles in my vision when i look at the sky or some normal coloured surfaces. But lots of my friends have it. So yea am i good to join?? cheers lockie...

- Yes, The AFP can't discriminate. Very rarely does someone have 20/20 vision. They do require that you have your aids with you. So if you want to be in Homicide etc.. you must have your glasses with you or available, even if you don't use them. Almost like a condition of employment. But now they do 2 examinations. 1 without any aids (glasses etc) and 1 with aids. (glasses if you need them). Both marks get added for a final score.
