Do all federal IT jobs require security clearance?
IT seems like the number of non-contractor IT jobs are increasing these days. Is this true? I see some positions that don't require security clearance. Is this this true? Anyone know if there's a change in the trend of IT outsourcing in the fed gov these days?

- No change in direction to ourtsource...saves Fed Gov money. You will see an increasing trend in cutting the IT budget for the Fed Gov though, thus fewer jobs inside Gov and contract jobs. A security clearance will vary in what type, and how deep. Whether you will need one depends upon the information you "need to know" in order to do your job......(former US Fed/DC/SES/IT)
- Federal IT jobs require security clearance !! 55 percent of its non contractor customers are women., and they also require security clearance.
