Does anyone know of any Federal Jobs that I can be assigned to while still on active duty?
Ideally, I would PCS to be attached to a federal agency until I get out, that would get my foot in the door. I knew an MP that did this with the FBI, he got lucky, anybody have any suggestions?

- I do know that the FBI requires a degree (BA) minimum. They like folks with a JD, computer science, accounting, law enforcement, in that order. I did some work with them 11 years ago. The agents I was working with tried to recruit me. My expertise was electronic security and CCTV. They were getting big on GPS instead of tailing people, wireless video and audio, and other sneaky ways to catch clowns at work. I have 2 weeks of college, so much for that. Armed Lawyers and Accountants. They just don't do a lot of the stuff you see in movies. They are the brainiacs of Law Enforcement. My prinary contact was in charge of the White Collar Crime Squad. He told me one of his guys pulled shredded docs out of a garbage can in a Beverly Hills alley, put them together and they were able to charge the guy for what ever he did. I think it took him 6 months. So are you into puzzles??
