Texas, Georgia, Washington, or Kentucky? (Rank)?
I'm considering a move from KY to TX, WA or GA. Please rank them by your preference from most to least and state why. My rank: 1. Texas: desert, forest, mountains, mesas, plains, hills, marshland, swamps, beaches, and some of the friendliest people! Very clean, thriving cities, beautiful women, but I'd say it's becoming crowded! 2. Washington: Seattle, rainforests, volcanoes, skiing, Puget Sound, the islands, Lake Washington, strong job market, close to Canada, what few folks I've met from there have been friendly 3. Georgia: Atlanta, great nightlife, the prettiest women, lots to do, gorgeous mountains, beaches, close to the Carolinas Then, drop to: 4. Kentucky: Taxation is high, women are attitude-laden, only two major cities, terribly incompetent state government, annoying accents, redneck culture, hard to make friends here...at least the farms are beautiful and spring is pleasant

- I would disagree about a few of your points. You forgot that Georgia is having drought problems. Water is drying up there. And the Washington state job market is soft. Also, too many illegals in Texas. Weather wise, I would choose Washington.
- Georgia-Pros- Drought coming to an end. Very Green, good weather except August and September, lots of activites, lots of housing available, most people are nice, good employment situation -Cons, Corrupt local govt's, high welfare living, high taxes, crime rate extreme Texas-don't know Kentucky-don't know but pretty country Washington would not be in my list.
- There will accents in all these places...women will have attitudes in all these places...Georgia is in a severe drought right now, Atlanta has urban sprawl that is a nightmare (price of gas, traffic, etc.), most of Georgia is clannish, the pollen count is very high in the Spring and Fall...Washington is very expensive to live in...Texas is overcrowded and filled with illegals, the Texas accent is the worst, cost of living is high, you want to see redneck culture? go to Texas... Basically where ever you go you take you with you...
- a note on texas... although it has all of those different features, they arent all the same place and if you plan on going to see them, be prepared for 12hr drives to the extremities from central texas. i also wouldnt recommend the texas beaches. sand is ugly, seaweed everywhere, and water is dirty. it is clean and 2 of the largest cities in the US are in texas, dallas and houston. not to mention austin, san antonio and ft. worth. its not becoming crowded. there is plenty of room. but what others have said about the illegals is true. and really annoying.
- 1.) Washington. Seattle is the bet place to live in the US. 2.) Kentucky. Mild weather, lots of red heads. 3.) Georgia. At least it has Atlanta 4.) Texas. It's who it's becoming crowded by no one likes.
