Where would I find out about Employee Rights in New Hampshire?

I understand about employment at will in NH, but I feel I was terminated unjustly. The reasons given are completely at odds with the facts, and may have been fueled by my gender. Where would I find out about what the state or federal government uses as guidelines for wrongful termination? I understand about employment at will in NH, but I feel I was terminated unjustly. Where would I find out about what the state or federal government uses as guidelines for wrongful termination? I have searched the NH state website, but there is little information that relates to this, and most of it is vague. I was wondering if someone knew of a site more specifically suited to NH worker rights, or wrongful termination.

  1. go to your state website. You should find all the info you need there
  2. This is the website for Right to Work States in the US: http://www.nrtw.org/rtws.htm If there is a problem, I suggest that you contact the US Department of Labor at http://www.dol.gov/ If the state statutes allow, you can file a Wrongful Termination Lawsuit. You may also want to contact the NH Bar Association for an attorney that handles Employment Law. Good Luck!
