How can I get long with this lady at work before I lose my job?

There is a lady at work that doesnt agree with my person views. i work in a federal office and she does too. She doesnt trust me. Thing is, I follow the law, and the law is on the side of the public. She is very conservative politically, and she creates her own rules. She feels she has to police the people, is one way to put it, and she always is suspicious. She pushes my buttons at work to make me crack. yesterday, she kept on bitchin at me for using the printer too long. The District manager heard me say, after I repeatly apologized to her, that "im not going to commit suicide over this". Well the DM pulled me into the office. He reminded me this is the 2nd time we have warned not to argue in the public. HELP she is trying to get me canned I am afraid. She gets frequent complaints from the public because of her rudeness, and is sickened by my friendly kindness. HELP

1. Just, do not speak to her, even if she is speaking to you. Next time, she'll get caught.
2. Ignore her, it will annoy her even more. AND nobody argues alone...
3. in a federal place of employment if you have a problem you go through the chane of comand first you go to your super and tell them the story if you don't get any results then go to the next higher one and so forth
4. Just by remembering that you could lose your job over it. Deal with her, or rather, don't. Tune her out. Eventually she will die off if you no longer allow her to feed your fire. Keep your friendly kindness for people deserving of it. She sounds like a miserable person. Don't let her get you down. Don't let her problem become yours. Is there a way you could pull your Boss aside and let him/her know about the tension you have with her? Make her invisible...the good people DO win in the end, and you sound like a good one to me!
