What is your opinion Meddling Mexico Consul Says Immigration Law Worries Hispanic Community?
Mexican consul Andres Chao says a sweeping Oklahoma law denying benefits and jobs to illegal immigrants raises concerns among the Hispanic community around the region. Chao says those concerns come as police agencies in northwest Arkansas prepare to send officers to federal immigration training. However, as Arkansas' cost of living remains low, he says the state and surrounding area will draw immigrants wanting to save money to send home to their families. Some Arkansas legislators this week suggested that stricter laws in Oklahoma and Tennessee would cause more illegal immigrants to move to Arkansas. - Yes, and we better get used to it, because the Mexican government has over 50 Consuls in most of the states, with 10 both in Texas and Californian. I will say again that the Mexican government is colonizing us one illegal at a time. Otherwise why would they use their money and their best bilingual government officials to oversee the needs and best interest of their Mexican nationals here, while giving maps to those back in Mexico to joint their family and friends here. Why do they give dual citizenship to their people. Between the Mexicans here demanding to have their needs addressed in Spanish, waving their Mexicans flags , and keeping their allegiance to their country of origin, not to mention some demanding reclaiming the SW as stolen f from the Mexican government, in the year 2050 we will be like the country from with they came, with 90% of the wealth in the hands of 10% of the people. We also will be answing to the Mexican goverment as well

- Oh, gosh! Does it worry them? Good thing only they have worries, right? And, I can tell the Consul that not all Hispanics are worried about immigration law. My husband, was born on the island of Puerto Rico. He is Hispanic AND was born a legal citizen. Mexicans may be worried, Central and South American Hispanics, but not all Hispanics even need be worried. In fact, only those Hispanics that come here illegally need to--and should--worry. One of my oldest and dearest friends is Mexican and was here legally for quite a few years before he went to Switzerland to open a restaurant with one of his sisters and her husband. My Mexican friend speaks at least 3 languages fluently, including English, earned his undergraduate degree at the oldest Catholic university in the Western Hemisphere in biology and earned his masters in social anthropology from the University of Mexico. He also has a degree in interior design. They wouldn't deny him a green card!
- Their job is to speak up they are consuls. Our consuls are all over the world and they meddle in other countries affairs as well.
- Actually it makes perfect sense, we fund Mexico's economy, so of course if their cash cow is threatened they are going to get scared. Arkansas should toughen their immigration laws as should all states. Give them nowhere to go but home.
- He's a liar. What he's doing is axactly what our corrupt and racists hispanics "leaders", activists and politicians do all the time: manipulate the latino community. I'm latino and I don't worry at all. I love this country very much and I want it to get rid of all illegal inmigrants.
- I say that the dude needs to remove his rose colored glasses. As the flow of illegals change so with the opinions of the local voters. If Arkansas sees a significant increase in illegals they will also change the laws to get rid of them. Mexico needs to get the message that we are sick of all the illegals in our country causing all these problems.

- Chao should take his sorry butt back to Mexico and all the illegals with him. Like we should be concerned they want to save money and send it home. Actually, there should be a law against that, too. They drain our system of all the freebie's and send their money home. How is it they have any money to send home and yet qualify for charity. Let Chao's go to Mexico and get things squared away their instead of telling us what we should do here.
- The Mexican Consul can kiss my gluteal region. The sooner we get more of these types of laws implemented, the sooner the illegals will start making a run for the border. Go Sooners.
