How applicable is it to have a Psychology Degree for a job in the Criminal Justice field?
I'm contemplating going to college for a BA or MA in Psychology, and was wondering how applicable the degree would be for use in a criminal justice career. I'm interested in becoming a police officer, but maybe moving up someday to becoming a profiler or federal officer of some sort.

- it can be very useful, it can help you deal with people if you have a better idea of how they would possibly think in a certain situation
- Psycology degree is good for so many careers Marketing ,customer Services, Councelling or anywhere you have to deal with people
- It will look realy good on a resume at first and because you have the degree it may get you promotions faster. In the long run though if you actually do decide to go for something like a profiler it will be a very valuable start to what you will need to know for that.
