people who work in government jobs?
my friend doesn't receive any money whatsoever from fafsa but her mom has a government job...does anyone know if there are any benefits that come with this that could help her out?

- Probably a mom that can help her pay for her schooling. The best benefit of all.
- The mom can check with her employer to see if there are any available programs. Or you might be able to search the web site for that government office to see if there is information available.
- If your friend's mom works for the federal government, she could check with the Federal Employee Education & Assistance Fund (http://www.feea.org ) to see if she qualifies for certain grants/scholarships/loans open to federal government employees and their qualifying dependents.
